K3 Young People's Centre provides a social meeting place that is safe and comfortable.
It offers a variety of facilities, and activities in which young people can be
involved. Coffee Bar, TV lounge, IT room for homework use, sports
hall and a quiet space for one to one support. Activities include a wide range of sports, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Unihoc, dodgeball, basketball etc, discos,’X Box360’, Nintendo Wii equipment
pool, music, Playstation 2, computers, free internet, discussion/issue based single
and mixed gender groups, Volunteer group, trips out and residentials.
There is also an opportunity to gain accreditation for involvement in youth club
activities.

Brook is also available to young people

The HEDZ project (Health Education Zone) is available for young people to access
free contraception in line with Cornwall Youth Service Sexual Health policy, get advice and information on relationships, bullying, smoking, contraception, stress, diet, money,
employment, alcohol and drugs.  We can now offer free chlamydia screening and pregnancy testing.  This is a confidential service.


Opening hours:

We are available from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, also evenings 7pm - 10pm

Senior Club - Monday, Wednesday & Fri 13-20yr age group, 7.15pm - 9.45pm

Groupwork - Tuesdays 7.15pm - 9.45pm

Junior Club - Thursdays 7pm - 9pm (11- 12 yr age group)

K3 Young People's Centre is also a Connexions Outreach venue where any young person
can access Personal Advisors on a Monday 10am - 1.30pm re: training, employment
and careers.

Best to phone first to check times and availability. The service is for any
young person living in, working or attending school/college in Saltash.

We have subscribed to the C-Card scheme and carry out Chlamydia and Pregnancy testing too.

K3 is used as the venue for 2 C.A.T.S. activites (Community Actions Through Sport) in partnership with local Police. These activities are for any young person aged 10-19 years living in Saltash or surrounding villages or being educated in Saltash.

Wednesday 7pm-9pm Non contact boxing & fitness
