The Contraception & Sexual Health Service is responsible for all the Family Planning Clinics in Cornwall. These clinics are known as Contraception & Sexual Health Clinics.
The Contraception & Sexual Health Clinics are listed separately under the towns they are based in.
All clinics offer the following:
The provision of a full range of contraceptive advice and supplies, this includes: Natural Family Planning, Spermicides, Female Barrier Methods, Diaphragms, Caps and Female Condoms, Male Barrier Methods (condoms), Intrauterine Device & System, Emergency Birth Control (including Morning after Pill), The Mini Pill, The Combined Pill, The Injectable Contraception and the Subdermal implant.
Also available at Contraception & Sexual Health Clinics are the following:
Referral for Termination of Pregnancy, Pre-conceptual Counselling, Vasectomy Counselling, Female Sterilisation Counselling, Cervical Cytology, Chlamydia screening and treatment of Chlamydia.
It is usually possible to see a female doctor if preferred.
The Doctors and Nurses all hold qualifications in contraception and sexual health.
Advice is available on all sexual health matters.
