The Service provides a full range of contraceptive advice and supplies, this includes: Natural Family Planning, Spermicides, Female Barrier Methods, Diaphragms, Caps and Female Condoms, Male Barrier Methods (condoms), Intrauterine Device & System, Emergency Birth Control (including Morning after Pill), The Mini Pill, The Combined Pill, The Injectable Contraception and the Subdermal implant.

Also available at Contraception & Sexual Health Clinics are the following:
Referral for Termination of Pregnancy, Pre-conceptual Counselling,referral back to GP, Female Sterilisation Counselling, Cervical Cytology, Chlamydia screening and treatment of Chlamydia.

It is usually possible to see a female doctor if preferred.

The Doctors and Nurses all hold qualifications in contraception and sexual health.

Advice is available on all sexual health matters.


Drop in Young Peoples Clinic open every Monday 4pm to 6pm, at St Austell SHARE, 1 Biddicks Court, St Austell.
