Truro Young Women's Centre

Truro Young Women’s Centre provides short term affordable accommodation for women between 16 and 30 years in need of support. We also accommodate young women who are pregnant or who already have a child less than 12 months old. We welcome young women on benefit and low incomes. We aim to provide a safe environment for them within a stable community in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, advice on form filling, making beenfit claims and dealing with officials as well as aiding with education, employment or voluntary work opportunities and developing new skills. We give advice on setting up a home, and help them with their move on. We work along side multi agencies and all the residents have equal access to these if it is required. We offer them the opportunity to take control of their lives, and give them the chance to build a better and brighter future.
