Free, independant, completely confidential service for anyone of any age, race, sexuality, disability, sex.
From Monday 31 January 2011 all new clients (or clients returning about a new issues) will have a brief initial interview to determine how best we can help. After that, they will be offered information, referral to another organisation, a routine appointment or an emergency appointment. Ongoing clients will be offered appointments, usually with an adviser they have already seen. We believe that this will enable us to offer our clients a better service, and avoid long waiting times.
Main issues covered are:
Welfare benefits, Debt, Consumer, Employment, relationship Breakdown and Housing.
We can help with advice and information on a huge range of other problems. Young people welcome.

Friday: Closed except for specialist appointments
Outreach by appointment - Wed in Looe 10am - 1pm, Thurs in Callington 10am - 1pm
Telephone for appointments 10am - 3pm Mon - Fri. Clients may choose their nearest bureau
We may be able to offer voluntary work placements eg IT, Admin, Research, Gateway telephone service.
Drop-In - Mon, Tues, Thurs 10 - 12.30pm
Specialist services - debt, tax credits, benefits
To train as an adviser takes 4 months. Must be mature, responsible, patient and organised.
