What is Connexions?
Connexions is an advice and support service for young people, aged 13 - 19 (and up to 25
if they have additional learning needs). It gives every young person access
to the best possible information, advice and support they need. Our main purpose
is to help all young people to engage in learning and work.
How can Connexions help me?
All young people are entitled to access a Personal Adviser. Personal Advisers
are based in Connexions centres, schools and colleges, drop-in centres and many
other youth organisations in your area. Connexions Personal Advisers can help
give you free and impartial information, advice and guidance on courses, jobs and training as well as all other issues
that may be worrying you such as health, housing or relationships. You can get
in touch with your Personal Adviser on the high street, where you learn, on
the web, on the phone (0800 9755 111).
Talk to your Connexions Personal Advisers in:
Talk to your school/college - your teachers/tutors will know how you can contact them. You may have more than one Personal Adviser - some provide different types of help, but don’t worry they will all listen to you and, together, we can sort out who’s the best person to help you.
