Connexions - managed & delivered by Careers South West Ltd

What is Connexions?

Connexions provides  free independent impartial information. advice and guidance (IAG) for all 13 - 19 year olds (and up to 25 for those with special needs).

Our main purpose is to engage all young people in learning and work. We aim to help young people access the appropriate opportunities, help them fulfil their aspirations, and raise their skill levels.

Talk to your Connexions Personal Advisers (PA) in:

All young people have access to a PA, whether this is through school or college; Connexions information and advice centre, or in youth or community groups.

Connexions Personal Advisers provide advice and guidance on careers, education courses, jobs and training and other issues facing young people, working closely with and making referrals to specialist agencies.

Your school/college/teachers/tutors will know how you can contact your PA.

You may have more than one  - some provide different types of help, but don’t worry they will all listen to you and, together, we can sort out who’s the best person to help you.

To find your local Connexions centre click on the following link:

Or freephone  0800 9755 111 (remember it’s not free if you’re phoning from a mobile) but we can ring you back.

Your youth or community group - talk to your youth worker, probation officer, social worker, youth offending officer or carer - they will know about the Connexions Service and can help you talk to a PA.

If you know of any changes to the details below, please contact us. Many thanks!
