Mon - Fri 8.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 6.00pm

What services do we offer: contraception, counselling and listening, advice and support, sexual health, pregnancy testing, health issues in general and information on other health services.
CONFIDENTIALITY: every consultation with a Doctor or Nurse is private and confidential. Consultations will not be discussed with anyone else without your permission. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT - THIS APPLIES TO UNDER 16s TOO!

How to Access the Service - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT: you can do this personally or by telephoning, stressing same day appointment if necssary. You may use one of our confidentiality cards (supplies in the surgery) if you wish to be discreet.
TELEPHONE FOR INFORMATION: if you have any questions or worries and cannot get to the surgery, you can telephone and ask to speak to the Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse between 12-1pm

CONFIDENTIALITY CARD - if you require advice, information or counselling and are too embarrassed to tell the receptionist, just hand over one of our confidentiality cards for an appointment with the Doctor or Nurse. A same day appointment is needed if you require emergency contraception.

EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION: Free to under 19 year olds, to be used if contraception method has failed or if you have had unprotected sex, it can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, the earlier the emergency contraception is taken the more effective it is at preventing an unwanted pregnancy, it involves taking 2 tablets - immediately, if it is more than 72 hours since unprotected sex, a coil may be fitted up to 5 days after unprotected sex to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, if emergency contraception is required, request a same day appointment, emergency contraception can be obtained free from some chemists.
