Cornwall Youth Service offers a range of services and support to young people through its youth centres and projects and Share advice and information shops.
These places have specially trained youth workers who can:
- Provide young people with information and resources to ensure a positive approach to sexual health and safer sex
- Offer young people a safe environment to talk in confidence and without judgement about their relationships
- Support young people in locating appropriate professionals services to ensure their well being in the short and long term.
In these projects a short information, demonstration and discussion session will be held on a regular basis, at the discretion of the project manager, to inform people about condom use, safer sex and sexual health services.
Young people can receive a free condom supply if:
- They have attended the demonstration and discussion session and if,
- The youth worker has good reason to believe that they are already in a sexual relationship, or intend to start one.
