The Young ME Sufferers Trust (Tymes Trust)

The Young ME Sufferers Trust has been chosen to receive the Queens Award for Voluntary Service: the MBE for volunteer groups
 

The Young ME Sufferers Trust (Tymes Trust) supports young people up to age 26
suffering from ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Subscription service for 26+. This
is a national charity represented on the Government’s Chief Medical Officer’s
Working Group. The Founder Patron is Lord Clement-Jones, CBE and the Executive
Director is former head teacher Jane Colby, an expert in education for children
with ME.

The Advice Line is open:

11am until 1pm and 5pm until 7pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.


The trust publishes "Vision" and 'The Brief' and offers regular support, and provides the Tymes Trustcard - a pass card for use in school or college.


Free information and publications for doctors and teachers and families is available at
www.tymestrust.org


The service provides reputable information on ME/CFS for young people, carers,
professionals, such as doctors and teachers, including online teacher training
packages.
