Any Organisation that offers a Service to 13 – 19 year olds, and is based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are eligible to get EEFO Approved. The EEFO Approval process is very straight forward, and often is about formalising an approach that the service already follows. If you are interested in getting EEFO Approved, please contact the EEFO team to request an EEFO pack is sent out to you. The EEFO pack contains the EEFO guidance notes and a self assessment form. Once the completed form is returned to the EEFO team, a validation visit will be arranged to ensure the quality standards have been met, and if so the Service will get EEFO Approved. If there are elements of the quality standards that need to be improved upon, a member of the EEFO team will devise an action plan, to help the service resolve any issues and help the service work towards being EEFO Approved. If at any time during the process, you would like some support, or have some questions, a member of the EEFO team will be more than happy to visit your service to discuss and resolve any issues.
