Teeth - What Colour Are Yours? (eefo.net user)

The condition of the teeth of the younger generation in Britain is deteriorating.

This is due to the frequency of sugary foods that they consume, then forgetting to brush their teeth afterwards. The long-term effects of not looking after teeth include plaque, discolouring and having to visit a dentist to have fillings or to have teeth removed.

This can be helped quite simply by cutting down on the amount of sugary foods people are eating. Also, you can start to brush your teeth twice a day for at least 2 or 3 minutes. Try eating other foods other than sugary products. They may not seem as tasty but in the long run it could be worth it.

If you stick with these basic rules to keep your teeth in a good condition, you will see good results. Your teeth will hopefully start to whiten and be in a better condition. So if you want this, you should:

" Clean your teeth on a regular basis
" Eat fewer or no sugary foods
" Avoid sugary/acidic drinks
" Use mouthwash and floss.
